After a hiatus of 3 years The Mighty Handful are finally back in the recording studio! We're recording with the inestimable Dan Slatter of 101 Challenges fame, and our second full shift in the studio is today , so with any luck we should have all the drum tracks and most of the piano parts in place this evening1 If you've been to any of our recent gigs you will have heard some new tracks... full track listing is yet to be confirmed but there are around 10 new songs being committed to 'tape' including 'Why We Were Lovers', 'Do I Look Like I Care?', 'Whole Lotta Glory' and 'Light Up My Life Again'. We'll try to keep you regularly updated on the frontpage as things happen. MAKE MINE MIGHTY! 1Yes... i went there... in spite of all our 'Who's Making The Tea...?' recording disasters in the past I am still blindly optimistic that this one will go without any hitches! UPDATE I knew I shouldn't have gone there! Less than an hour after posting this the recording session got cancelled. Dagnamit, the curse of the Mighties strikes again! |

The first gig I ever went to was Michael Jackson on his 'Bad' tour at Wembley in 1988. Pretty much ruined every gig since, that did. |

Not content with taking over the world with The Mighty Handful1, Mighty Matt has teamed up with the extrememly Dan MT Slatter to form a 'superduo' creating bespoke music for TV and film. The first fruits of their labour is the, *ahem*, ridiculously sublime music for Channel 4's '101 Challenges'... |
